BANGOR, Maine (AP) – Spring didn’t enter the state quietly! Heavy snow is bringing power outages to some parts of Maine. Electric utility Emera Maine says more than 3,300 of its customers in Hancock County are without electricity on Thursday morning. Southwest Harbor is the hardest hit community, but there are scattered outages throughout the county. An Emera spokeswoman says the goal is to have all power restored by late morning, although there is the possibility of additional outages. The National Weather Service says some areas of Maine could get six inches of snow.
