A State Trooper escaped injury Thursday when a wild turkey flew into the windshield of his cruiser. Trooper Tucker Bonnevie said he saw a flock of turkeys in the median of Interstate 95 in Plymouth when one of them took flight and flew into his windshield. The impact left a large indent in the windshield on the driver’s side. The collision took place about 6:30 a.m. as the trooper was traveling along the southbound lanes. Damage to the cruiser was confined to the windshield.
