Sherman, Me: Three people escape with only minor injuries after the vehicle they were in left the road and hit a utility pole. Alcohol does seem to have been a factor. State police say 18 year old Nichole Goguen of Houlton was driving her parents Ford truck on the Benedicta Road in Sherman. The vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole, breaking it. Other passengers in the vehicle were 24 year old Cody McNally of Stacyville and 18 year old Breanne Briggs of Houlton. All three were wearing seat belts and received only minor injuries. The truck was totaled. An investigation led to 24 year old Cameron McNally of Stacyville, who has been charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol.
