TAMC Honors V.I.P. Employees

Aroostook County  - The Aroostook Medical Center honored a special group of employees at a breakfast recently.  The event honored those employees with over 20 years of service or V.I.P.’s (Veterans-In-Partnership).   Nine employees joined the V.I.P ranks this year.  That brought the total to 169 people currently in the program.

The nine employees who have reached the 20-year milestone of service are: Annette Lawrence of Blaine, who works at the Mars Hill Health Center; William Doak of Presque Isle, who works in central registration at the A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital; Catherine Rehill or Presque Isle, who works in day surgery at the A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital; Norman Roy of Eagle Lake, who works in quality management services at the A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital; Jill Lunney of Mars Hill, who works in the intermediate care unit at the Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill; Paula Gallupe of Blaine, who works in Environmental Services at the Aroostook Health Center; Kerry Michaud of Mars Hill, who works at Aroostook Pediatrics at North Street Healthcare in Presque Isle; Rattiya Pierce of Mars Hill, who works in food service at the Aroostook Health Center; and Nancy Grant, who works in food service at the Aroostook Health Center.

Some employees were also recognized for service of 40 years or more.  They are: Janet Sawyer of Easton, who works in physical therapy; Cheryl Flannery of Fort Fairfield, who works in coding; Eugene Curtis of Presque Isle, who works in support services; Cynthia Chalou of Mapleton, who works at TAMC Family Practice and Internal Medicine; Donna Dean of Mapleton, who works in medical records; and Cinda Patten of Presque Isle, who works in respiratory therapy.

This year’s event was especially significant as it marked the 25th anniversary since the V.I.P program was initiated.
