Special Olympians Show Off Skills
It was a busy Wednesday morning at Gentile Hall. The annual Special Olympics skills competition was held Wednesday morning… and it was the largest turnout ever for the event. 166 Olympians from Danforth to Fort Kent converged on UMPI for the event. Organizer Carl Michaud said the number of athletes wasn’t a surprise.
Battle of Cats and Dogs on the Court
It was a battle of cats and dogs Wednesday at Presque Isle High School. The Presque Isle wildcat boys basketball team took on the Aroostook Snowdogs… the county’s Special Olympics basketball team.
