The long awaited Madawaska town meeting took place at 7pm Monday night. The School committe proposed their finalized budget with all the cuts that they have tirelessly been trying to figure out over the several weeks prior. Finally they approved it and moved on.

The Madawaska School Department is facing a budget shortfall that could result in major cuts to the overall system. Now they have to make some decisions and make them fast before the next town meeting.
