Residents of Presque Isle were left in the dark for 16 minutes yesterday. According to Emera, at 3:50 pm, a crew working at Flo’s inn substation on the Parkhurst Siding Road tripped a breaker. 1,325 customers were without power until 4:06 pm when power was restored.

Fire fighters are conducting a controlled burn of a building in Easton.  Due to that,  a lane is currently closed on US 1A between White Road and Hersom Road (2 miles north of the Mars Hill area).  The MDOT is advising motorists to expect delays.
