Runners Prepare for Boston Marathon

The Boston Marathon is Monday and once again this year runners from our area will be competing in the 26 mile race from Hopkinton to Boston.

Masardis native Richard Lyons will be competing in Boston for the 15th consecutive time. Ghislain Pelletier of Florencville Bristol is running again this year and three friends who have been training together will also be competing. Donald Audibert of Fort Kent will be competing in his third Boston, Richard Hoppe of Portage Lake will be running the race for the second time and Roy Bernard of Fort Kent is competing in the event for the first time
