The RCMP is continuing to investigate an attempted armed robbery at the Royal Canadian Legion in Hartland, New Brunswick on Friday, April 11.

Police were called to the Legion after an armed masked man entered demanding money from a bartender. He fled with nothing and was seen getting into a vehicle driven by a woman.

A 41-year-old woman was arrested later that evening for questioning but it has been determined through the investigation that she was not involved in the attempted robbery.

The suspect is described as approximately 5′ 8′ tall with a slim build. Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP or Crime Stoppers at crimenb.ca or 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
