Owls Hall of Fame Adds Three new Members

The University  of Maine Presque Isle will be inducting three new members into the Owls Athletic Hall of Fame during Homecoming festivities in September.


Erica Davis from the Class  of 2009 who played three sports at the University and was named the women’s Athlete of the year twice in 2008 and 2009. She picked up Conference and National Awards in softball, basketball and volleyball.

Steve Babineau from the class of 1999. Babnineau’s soccer skills helped the Owls win 37 games in his four years. He also ranks 11th in career scoring at the University. He also made NAIA All New England First team his senior year. He is currently the coach of the St Josephs College men’s soccer team.

Shawn Manter from the class of 1993. Manter scored 1000 point in three years at UMPI and was a multiple time All Conference Selection.

the three will be honored during a banquet on Saturday September 20th at the Campus Center
