Northern Maine Fair Wrap-up

It’s an event that’s looked forward to every year, and now it’s come and gone. Saturday wrapped up this year’s annual week-long Northern Maine Fair. The Lumberjack roundup was one of the last activities to round up the tail end of the fair.

The President of the Northern Maine Fair Carol Bell says, ” We had a great fair this year other than losing the first Friday which did make an impact on it we’ve had record days many many people here we’ve filled up the place many times. Several thousand 30 thousand people come to these fairs all from all over Northern Maine and New Brunswick.”

But what is it about this agricultural fair that attracts so many people?

“What’s your favorite thing to do at the fair?”
“I like to come here eat food, walk around, check out all the games.”

” I like being with all the animals.”
“Watching the livestock shows ”
“I like watching the truck pulls.”

The McCrum family was at the fair ALL WEEK.

McCrum Family, from Washburn says, “We’ve been camping here for the week and we’re just getting packed up to go home.”

The President of the Northern Maine Fair Carol Bell says, ” This year has shown with the comments we’ve received people are very excited they’re very happy with what they’re seeing and we try every year to do things bigger and better.”
