Public School superintendents are criticizing Governor LePage saying he was anti-public school and pro-charter school from the getgo of his administration. Governor LePage has fired back saying he wants to ensure Maine students are academically competitive with the rest of the nation. As Shawn Cunningham finds out in part oneĀ  of a three part series, school officials say public education won’t get any better if Maine’s own governor doesn’t stand behind it.
