Police Crime

The two people that were killed last night in Old Town have been identified.  They have been identified as 35 year old April Haskell and 28 year old Christopher Ouellette, both from the Old Town area.  A State Trooper who responded to the scene, along with Old Town Police and Penobscot County Sheriff deputies, shot and killed Ouellette who had called police to say he had stabbed his girlfriend. Two young children, ages 2 and 4, were in the third floor apartment and were unharmed. Ouellette and Haskell had lived in the apartment for about two months.  Autopsies are scheduled Thursday for Ouellette and Friday for Haskell.  The two children have been placed in the custody of relatives.
