NORTH YARMOUTH: A man was shot to death Sunday afternoon at a well-known business in North Yarmouth.  Leon Kelley, 63, of Georgetown died on enroute to Maine Medical Center in Portland.  He is the son in law of the co-owner of the Brown’s Bee Farm on the Greely Road.  Detectives say he was shot by Merrill Kimball, 70, of Yarmouth.  Kimball is the husband of the other co-owner of the business.  Police say Kelley and Kimball got into a confrontation at the business location.  Kimball was detained by State Troopers, interviewed and released.  Detectives are now working to determine the circumstances of the shooting, which will include interviews, ballistics tests on the gun, evidence from the scene, and the autopsy results on Kelley.  The autopsy is expected to be done Monday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta.
