Madawaska Superintendent Terry Wood has officially resigned. A statement was sent out this morning saying:
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Madawaska and Grand Isle School Boards for allowing me the privilege of serving as your superintendent for the past two years. I appreciate your vote of confidence in extending my contract; however, at this time for personal reasons, I have decided to officially resign as Superintendent of the Madwaska School Department.I would like to sincerely thank all administrators, staff, teachers, students, parents, community members and the Central Office staff for your continued support throughout my tenure and will miss our collaborative working relationships here in Madawaska. Best wishes and again, thank you for opportunity to have served the Madwaska School Department.”
