Robertson adds that scammers will often use Western Union because it is cash, not check or credit card…so once the scammer has the access number, the money is gone. ┬áHe says any use of Western Union by someone you do not know, should be an immediate red flag and you should hang up and contact your local police or sheriff department immediately.
