Holiday spirit filled the room at the Madawaska Four Seasons annual Christmas at the Lodge on Sunday.
“It’s a yearly event for the volunteers and members of the Four Seasons club to come out for pre-Christmas festivities if you will,” said Jim Madore, a Volunteer at the Four Seasons Lodge.
The Four Season Lodge staff, is made up of all volunteers from the community.
“Everything we do we is to benefit for the the Four Seasons Lodge,” said Beverly Madore, Activities Coordinator at the Four Seasons Lodge.
On Sunday they cooked breakfast for all who attended, with items donated from local businesses and community members. Although Christmas isn’t for a few days, Mr. Clause pulled up on his sleigh, and the children couldn’t wait too meet him and take a ride. Santa explained to us why he made the trek all the way from the North Pole to visit the Four Season Lodge.
“The Four Seasons Lodge does a lot for this community all year long. I’m here to help support them,” explained Santa Claus, a Volunteer at the Four Seasons Lodge.
The day wrapped up with a special dedication. The Four Seasons Lodge dedicated a garage to the community, which was built this summer by volunteers, as a thank you for all they have done.
