ASHLAND, Maine- Police are investigating a late-night crash in northern Maine that killed a 34-year-old man and injured five others. Officials say an extended cab pickup truck was heading north on Route 11 in Ashland shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday when the 21-year-old driver lost control and went off the road into a wooded area. Authorities say that 34 year old Joey Clark of Ashland died in the crash and that another passenger was in serious condition. Police say the other three people have injuries that are not life-threatening. Some of those injured have been transported to Bangor. Injured were UMPI students, 20 year old Jessica Campbell, 20 year old Taylor Cochran and 21 year old Royce McDonald, 21 year old Cote Levesque and 21 year old Myles Bolstridge all of Ashland.
