A man and a woman in their fifties were arrested after marijuana was seized from a residence in Saint-Léonard-Parent, N.B.
On Monday, members of RCMP Federal Operations West, assisted by the West District RCMP, the North West Integrated Intelligence Unit, the Edmundston Police Force and the Department of Natural Resources, executed a search warrant at a residence located on Coombes Road, in Saint-Léonard-Parent.
Illegal cigarettes and more than 150 plants believed to be marijuana were seized. Both the man and the woman were released on a promise to appear in Edmundston Provincial Court in May.
The investigation is ongoing.
