NB Man Pleads Guilty to Theft

A Saint-Léonard man pleaded guilty to two charges of theft over $5,000 following an investigation by the RCMP Financial Crime Unit. On June 26,  47-year-old Guy Tardif pleaded guilty at the Court of Queen’s Bench in Edmundston, NB to one count of theft over $5,000 against Suncor Energy/Petro Canada and one count of theft over $5,000 against the Department of National Defence.

The offences happened between 2008 and 2011 when Tardif was employed at the Grand Falls Petro Pass station.

Tardif is scheduled to appear back in court on November 3, 2014 for sentencing.
