The man accused of killing his girlfriend in St. Francis has pleaded not guilty.  Jesse Marquis was arraigned in Aroostook County Superior Court in Caribou on Friday.  He pleaded not guilty to murder.  According to Tim Feeley of the Maine Attorney Generals Office, the court has given 90 days for both parties to submit motions.  The next date, which is for the dispositional conference, has been set for December 18th.  Marquis allegedly shot Amy Theriault in the chest and stabbed her several times on May 31st.  He then went on the run for 6 days.  It was one of the largest manhunts in the history of northern Maine.
