A Mapleton woman has been arrested and charged after allegedly driving drunk with her 10 year old son in the vehicle. Police stopped 29-year-old Faith Houlton Sunday after they received reports of a vehicle driving erratically on the Caribou Road. Houlton failed all of the field sobriety tests. Once back at the Presque Isle Police station, another test showed Houlton’s blood alcohol content was nearly three times Maine’s legal limit for operating a vehicle. She was charged with operating under the influence and endangering the welfare of a minor.
