MONMOUTH, Maine (AP) -A Monmouth man is looking for the mystery woman who helped saved his life. 61 year old Leonard Crocker, who works for the Monmouth Public Works Department, lost consciousness by the side of the road March 17 just after his crew finished cutting trees. While he was out, a woman in a passing car stopped to help. He didn’t see her, but Crocker does have some clues. His boss says the woman was with her boyfriend in a red Mustang. They had just come from the grocery store in Winthrop, and the woman said she had nearly completed classes to become a registered nurse. As soon as an ambulance arrived, she took off. Crocker tells the Kennebec Journal he just wants to thank her.
