AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) – A 30-year-old Vassalboro man charged with killing a man he alleges sexually molested him as a boy has been ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation. Courtney Shea agreed to be held without bail at an appearance Thursday in Kennebec County Superior Court. He retains the right to seek bail in the future. He faces a murder charge in connection with the Nov. 21 stabbing death of 69-year-old Thomas Namer of Waterville. The suspect told police he stabbed Namer after the older man made a sexual advance. He said he had known Namer for years and had been molested by him when he was 11.
