WATERVILLE, Maine (AP) – Two Waterville teenagers came to the aid of an 86-year-old woman who fell on the side of the road after leaving a senior living facility.
The Morning Sentinel reports Iesha Blakeslee and Billie Stone found the woman, whom police did not identify, lying near a softball field early Tuesday morning. The paper reported the woman saying she waved to about 20 passing cars, none of which stopped, after her fall.
The teenagers, who are Waterville Senior High School students, called 911, gave the woman a jacket and called her daughter. An ambulance returned the woman to the senior facility she had left.
