Jesse Marquis made his first appearance in Court Monday. It was done through telecom from the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton. Marquis was officially read the complaint against him. He was told that right now, he had not been indicted on the charge of Class M Murder for allegedly killing Amy Theriault in St. Francis May 31st. Marquis was found Friday after a massive, week long manhunt. The state appointed him two attorneys, Steven Smith of Bangor and Dan Humphrey of Caribou. The next hearing has been scheduled for June 13, at 10a.m. in Caribou.
