A Hodgdon teenager escaped serious injury after crashing his car into a utility pole early Sunday morning. The crash broke the pole and knocked out power in the area for a short time until crews were able to replace the damaged pole. According to State Police, Trooper Carman Lilley responded to the crash on Calais Road where 19 year old Isac Quint of Hodgdon skidded off. He had lost control of his vehicle after hitting a snow covered roadway on Route 1. His Chevy pickup was totaled and fortunately Quint was not injured.
