Medical Sharps Program Expanding Countywide
A program to safely dispose of medical sharps originated in Caribou through a partnership between Cary Medical Center and the Caribou Police Department. The program has reaped so much success it is now expanding to other communities in the county, thanks to financial support from the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.
