PORTLAND, Maine (AP) -Maine gubernatorial candidate Eliot Cutler has announced changes he would like to see in Maine. Tuesday, Cutler said the state needs to fix and modernize its road system to improve Maine’s economy. He also said Maine is second to last in the United States in broadband speed and needs an upgrade for the state’s businesses to remain competitive. Cutler, an Independent, is running against Republican Gov. Paul LePage and Democratic U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud. Cutler also ran for governor in 2010, when he lost to LePage in a three-way race.
