Four People Arrested After 6 Month Investigation

Four people are arrested after a six month investigation into the illegal distribution of Heroin and Crack Cocaine throughout the Greater Portland area.

28 year old Gabriel Williams, 20 year old Robert Combs and 23 year old Michael Fleury all of Brooklyn, NY along with 54 year old Denise Parham of Portland, Me were arrested and charged with Class B Unlawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs, Heroin and Crack Cocaine.  Williams was also charged with Violating Conditions of Release as he was out on bail for a pending drug trafficking charge related to this investigation.

On October 7, 2013 at approximately 4:00 PM, agents and officers from the Portland Police Department executed a search warrant at 638 Congress Street.  The search warrant was the result of an investigation that began approximately 7 months ago when residents reported to police a high volume of foot traffic and disturbances in the building.  Agents observed a drug transaction take place between Parham and two other people.  Utilizing this information along with information obtained over the past 6 months, agents obtained and executed a search warrant for apartment 309.

Evidence seized from the apartment included 72 grams of suspected Cocaine Base, 125 grams of suspected Heroin and $2773.00 dollars in suspected drug proceeds. The approximate street value of the seized drugs is $30,000 dollars.  All four suspects were transported to the Cumberland County Jail where bail was set at $50,000 dollars each. The investigation is ongoing and other arrests are expected.
