Fort Kent Fire

Firefighters were busy fighting a fire in Fort Kent Thursday night. According to the St. John Valley Times, the blaze happened at G-B and D Farms. The building was used to store potatoes and farm equipment. According to the paper, the building was still smoldering and the roof had collapsed. Fort Kent Fire received mutual aid from Eagle Lake, Frenchville, North Lakes Fire and Rescue and Clair, New Brunswick. The building is owned by the town of Fort Kent and was being leased, according to the Valley Times.
