CHAPMAN, ME: A Presque Isle man has been killed in an accident last night on the Chapman Road in Chapman.  Maine state police say 42 year old Johnathan Browning of Presque Isle was traveling north on the Chapman Road around 6:45 pm yesterday.  Browning lost control of his vehicle and hit a telephone pole.  State Trooper Shawn Whalen investigated the fatal crash and reports that Browning was not wearing a seat belt.  He was partially ejected from the vehicle. Browning was pronounced dead at the scene. Maine state police say speed and not wearing a seat belt are contributing factors. Police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident.
