Guided Walking Tour of Historic Fairmount Cemetery

Join Presque Isle Historical Society for a guided walking tour through historic Fairmount Cemetery established in 1864.  The 1 1/2 hour tour begins at the Civil War Monument in the Cemetery at 2 Houlton Road at 5:30 p.m.  Free parking is available across the street in the Chamber parking lot.  Learn about the history of the cemetery and its Victorian influences as well as hear the stories of some of Presque Isle’s interesting figures interred therein.  Tickets $5.00 per person.  Reservations suggested by…

NMW meet the 1st Wednesday I of the month during the school year at Hodgdon High School in the blue shop building. Meeting times are 7:00pm but doors usually open at 6:30. A short business meeting is held and we then display our monthly project assignment and other things we have been working on. We discuss tips, tricks and everything woodturning.
