Art galleries and museums in northern Maine are collaborating to present the first exhibition of a group project bringing together five art galleries and historical museums, sixteen artists and five exhibition venues across the geographic territory of Acadian communities. The exhibition l’Acadie mythique is a project of Saint Mary’s University Art Gallery in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Fort Fairfield Knights of Columbus will hold a hamburger and hotdog luncheon on Sunday July 27 from Noon until 2:00pm,  at their council hall on Main street in Fort Fairfield.  The Menu will consist of a hotdog or hamburger with French fries or onion rings, punch, coffee or tea, and dessert.  Donations of $5 per plate will be graciously accepted.  All proceeds will go toward one of our many charitable donations.
