The Fort Fairfield Knights of Columbus will be holding a Barbeque Chicken Fundraiser Luncheon at their hall on main street in Fort Fairfield,  on Sunday August 31, from 11:30am until sold out. The menu will consist of 1/2 BBQ Chicken, French fries, cole slaw, and dinner roll with punch, coffee, tea and dessert for those dining inside.  “To Go” meals will be available for those wishing to take a meal home.  A Donation of $8 per person will be graciously accepted. …

Mizpah in Grand Isle is having their yearly Walk-a-Thon Around the Pond. The event includes taking a Casual Walk around the pond and honoring our Past & Present Cancer Survivors. Refreshment and picnic lunch will be served around 4:00 to 5:00pm. Purchase a $5.00 Candle in memory of a loved one. The highlight of the fundraiser will be at dusk when all purchased luminaries that have been placed around the pond are illuminated.
