Early Morning Accident in Presque Isle

Three college students were involved in an accident early Tuesday morning in Presque Isle. The Presque Isle Police Department responded to the crash at 2:47 Tuesday morning. An 18 year old female UMPI student was driving a 2005 Toyota Corolla when she tried to get her cell phone charger out from underneath her. She lost control of the car and crashed into a telephone pole. Her passengers were a 19 year old male and an 18 year old male, both NMCC students. The female and 19 year old male were both wearing seat belts and refused medical assistance. The 18 year old male riding in the back of the car did receive some minor face injuries and was transported to the hospital by Crown Ambulance. No one has been charged.
