On Thursday November 29th 2012, Police were called this home in Fort Fairfield. The homeowner, Wendell “Duke” Boulier, reported that at his home had been burglarized and roughly 10 guns and a number of other items had been stolen. Upon further investigation, police were able to determine that the robber or robbers gained entry by shoving open the front door of the trailer and breaking the hasp.

Once inside, it was discovered that a number of guns had been removed from a wooden gun case. A Black Mohawk metal gun case, originally located in the bedroom, was also stolen. That case is said to have contained several rifles. The long list of items stolen include a Harrington-Richardson 20 gauge single shotgun, a New England Firearms 20 gauge single shotgun. 4 .22 caliber bolt action rifles, a 30-30 Winchester, and a 30-Aught 6 Remington WoodsMaster. Those guns, along with the other items stolen such as tools and a watch, have an estimated value of over $2,500.

Anyone providing information this month that leads to a grand jury indictment on this crime is eligible for a one thousand dollar reward.
