It was a Valentine’s Day fire that completely destroyed a County woman’s home…leaving her and her five family members basically homeless. Now, thanks to her 15 year old granddaughter and a supportive community, it looks like she will soon have that new home, but your help is needed…NewsSource 8 reporter Kelly O’Mara has the story.
When the house is built, it will be a four bedroom house to fit the 6 people that will be living there. To raise money for the project, there will be a spaghtetti dinner fundraiser THIS Saturday night from 5 to 7 PM att he Mapleton Lions Hall. All are welcome to attend. If you aren’t able to attend, but want to donate you can send donations to the Bank of Maine branch at 9 Dyer Street in Presque Isle…just let them know it is for the Deveau and Easler fund. Or to donate your time on the project, you can call 540-5435.
