The track itself is mostly dry, but there is still a lot of snow around the track. Some of the team members wading through the snow to get the hurdles
Alden:” We snowblowed a patch over there, but there is still 20 30 inches of snow in some places. It will take awhile to get to the point where we can use our jumping pits and do all our field events.”
Alden said that being outside and on the track is important for the team members it helps keep them interested and not getting bored.
Alden:” We have got a lot of kids that have never seen track before. They don’t have a real understanding of what it is like. We are doing the conditioning workouts and they are thinking this is to much work. Now they can get out here and some things that are little bit more fun and it will make all the difference for them.
