WATERVILLE, Maine (AP) – The woman accused of boldly shoplifting at a Waterville supermarket has been identified. Based on her license plate, Police found 61 year old Lou Ann Gedmint from South China. A court summons for misdemeanor theft has been issued to Gedmint for allegedly ignoring employees trying to stop her as she walked out of the supermarket with about $200 worth of food. She then got in a car and drove away. She is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7. Gedmint says she paid for the groceries.
