UMBAZOOKSUS LAKE (T6 R13 WELS): A body, believed to be a missing man from Quebec, has been found in Umbazooksus Lake by game wardens. A game warden pilot, who is based out of the County, was inspecting ice conditions on northern Maine lakes when he discovered the body. Game Wardens on the ground found the body several hours later. It is believed to be the body of 67 year old Renald Poulin of St. Come Quebec, Canada. Poulin went missing in November of 2013 while on a trip to visit the train rail systems located in the Umbazooksus Lake area. His vehicle was located, but the search for Poulin had to be suspended in December due to heavy snow falling on the search area. The body will be examined by the Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta to make an official identification.
