A Blaine woman was threatened with a handgun at her home Friday. Deputy Chief Darrell Crandall of the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department says shortly after 1:00 in the afternoon, the woman called from her residence on the Grass Road in Blaine saying there were three men in her home. She got into an altercation with one of the men who threatened her with a handgun and the gun was discharged into the air. Then the men left. No one was hurt. Sheriff’s Depuities, along with State Police, Border Patrol and Fish and Wildlife responded. Shortly after, 2 of the men were found on the East Ridge Road in Mars Hill, one of whom, a 17-year old, was arrested. The 3rd man was found in Blaine. .The 17-year old was charged with Criminal Threatening and Reckless Conduct with a Firearm. MDEA agents executed a search warrant on the East Ridge Road and recovered a handgun, ammunition, drugs and other evidence. Crandall says the investigation is ongoing and other charges may be filed.
