Fire fighters are conducting a controlled burn of a building in Easton.  Due to that,  a lane is currently closed on US 1A between White Road and Hersom Road (2 miles north of the Mars Hill area).  The MDOT is advising motorists to expect delays.

Woman Arrested for Stabbing Dog

A woman has been arrested for attacking a dog  while on “bath salts.”  According to the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office, 30 year old Ashley Doody, of Perham, allegedly attacked a dog named Trixie with a knife early Sunday morning.  Trixie is expected to recover, though seriously injured.  Doody is facing felony animal cruelty charges.
