Another major honor for Madawaska’s Ian Lee. The senior is one of three boys soccer players to be named All New England.
It was great to be recognized along with all the guys downstate. They play against some amazing competition and to have that recognition playing up here in Class C is pretty awesome.”
Earlier this year Lee became the boys all time leading goal scorer in the State. Lee scored 127 goal in his career smashing the old record of 107 set by Bradley Wilcox of Bangor Christian in 2011. During every interview Lee credits his teammates for his success

The banquet for Lee’s final soccer activity during his high school career. He is now looking forward to the upcoming basketball season and finishing his senior year of studies. He said the last four years on the soccer field were unbelievable and the town and the students are huge soccer fans
” Playing soccer in Madawaska was great. It’s the sport of choice up here. and everyone in town is supportive. Everyone is behind my back they are all proud of me what I accomplished. Everyone was behind our back all the way to State game which we fell short, but it’s a great sport up here.”
