911 ceremony caribou pic_0

In remembrance of that tragic September day on which so many lost their lives, flags around the state were ordered at half staff and ceremonies were held all over, including  one in Caribou. People came together at the Caribou Fire Department to remember and honor the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks. The fire department honor guard, veterans, and community members observed a moment of silence for all those who lost their lives twelve years ago, September 11.  Kids from local schools – many of whom were not alive in 2001 – were also at the ceremony.
